Hi, I’m Kris Whalen, and welcome to my website! As far back as I can remember, I’ve always had a vested interest in home decor, staging, and real estate so when it came time to decide on my career path I knew becoming a Realtor would be a great fit. I have found a career that allows me to blend my desire to help those in my community find the home of their dreams, with my love of interior design.
I joined Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors in 1998 and have worked my way up from the company’s Bronze Club to Double Diamond Club through the years and have also been honored as a top lister and top sales associate in the Clinton Office in 2017-2020 and top lister in 2021.
However, the award that means the most to me, and I have been fortunate enough to win a few times, is our Excellence in Service award. This accolade is based on client feedback so it’s incredibly gratifying to be able to help my friends and family buy and sell their homes but also to do so in a way that made them feel supported and taken care of. At the end of the day, it’s important to me that the buyers and sellers I work with feel I represented them and their needs well. I want my clients to know, that even after the process is over I am still here for them! I truly am blessed with the friendships I have made over the years. And look forward to creating more!
Outside of real estate, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I enjoy running and biking and I have completed six full marathons and several half marathons and have sponsored runs like the Pam Pray Memorial Run, Clinton Half Marathon, Freezin’ for a Reason Run, and Finally Fridays. In my opinion, there is little a positive attitude can't get you though!
I am married with one son, a beautiful grandson, and 2 awesome golden retrievers, Milo & Mazy, who keep me on my toes!
